1. General

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data (hereinafter referred to as ‘data’) that we collect about you for the purpose of providing you with the services we offer. By using our website or providing us with your data when using one of our online forms, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the provisions of this Policy, you should refrain from using our website and from providing us with your data. 3. What data do we collect, for what purpose and on what legal basis?

This comprises data that you provide to us, on the one hand, via the forms available on the Jarvis website and, on the other hand, via cookies placed by us or, more generally, by third-party services.

3.2. Cookie Management

This website uses cookies. The cookies used on this site are strictly limited to technical purposes and, optionally, for audience measurement purposes.

A cookie is a small file sent along with a website’s pages and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer, tablet or mobile phone. The information it contains may be sent back to the website’s servers during a subsequent visit, thereby enabling the website’s operator to track the user’s activity.

It should be noted that the term ‘cookies’ also encompasses any other technical tracking methods, such as ‘scripts’ in general. A script is a fragment of programming code used to make a website function interactively. Finally, ‘web beacons’, ‘tracking pixels’ or ‘social media cookies’ are also forms of cookies.

Cookies enable content to be personalised and provide features necessary for the proper functioning of a website, such as managing a shopping basket or remembering a language preference, for example.

3.2.1 Technical cookies

We use certain cookies to remember your settings and preferences, such as your chosen language. These cookies are essential for the website to function properly and cannot be disabled.

3.2.2 Audience measurement cookies

We use these to analyse and improve the website’s audience figures using Google Analytics. This tool collects, for example, your IP address when you log in, the date and time you accessed the website, the pages viewed, the type of browser used, and the platform and/or operating system used.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent.

You may amend or withdraw your consent at any time by managing your preferences via the cookie bar or by clicking on the ‘Cookie Management’ button in the bottom right-hand corner of the jarvislgg.be website
