Constraints
Dangerous goods containing batteries
SolarCleano ships solar panel cleaning robots to all four corners of the globe. The company handles all production, R&D and sales in-house. However, once the robots are loaded onto pallets, they require an expert partner to take care of the rest.
The challenge
There are many challenges with SolarCleano. Firstly, they ship their robots all over the world. This means personalised tracking needs to be activated locally. If a pallet causes a problem in Qatar, we need a local representative to sort it out. We have agents in most of the countries that import the client’s solutions.
In all honesty
What makes these robots unique is that they fall under ‘Dangerous Goods’ regulations because of their batteries. This adds a bit of extra complexity to the preparation of accompanying documentation at Jarvis: administrative paperwork, customs formalities and handling procedures must all be up to standard!
